Western & Southern Open Returns To Cincinnati In 2021
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Western & Southern Open was played at Flushing Meadows from 22-28 August in the lead-up to the US Open. This marked the fifth time since the tournament began in 1899 that it had not been held in the Cincinnati area. Indianapolis hosted the event in 1914, 1917 and 1919, and in 1920 the tournament was held in Fort Wayne, Ind.
